Fashion & Hair Highlights from the Grand National Festival 2015

Every April the eyes of the UK and much of the world turns to Aintree and the Grand National Festival for 3 days of high octane racing, celeb spotting and of course some of the most glamorous outfits of the year.

With its own dedicated ladies day on Friday – dubbed ‘Fabulous Friday’ by the organisers and a prize for the best dressed lady, the girls have even more of an excuse to go all out with some creative outfits and hairstyles, while the guys get suited and booted too.

Here we take a look at our favourite fashion and hair trends from the 2015 running at Aintree.

Rebecca Ferguson

Local Liverpool girl Rebecca Ferguson enjoyed Friday at Aintree dressed in a striking pink dress designed by Phillip Armstrong. Rebecca matched the outfit with an elegant blue and pink Latina hat which was created by milliner Rosie Olivia.  For her hair, Rebecca tied a loose pony tail to one side to complete a stunning look.

Rebecca was at the festival in part to judge the best dressed competition alongside Gok Wan so it’s just as well she looked so good herself!

Dani Lawrence

Dani Lawrence the girlfriend of Liverpool FC goalkeeper Brad Jones' wore one of the most glam outfits on the opening day of the festival.

The mid length white lace dress by Los Angeles fashion label Love for Lemons looked classic and elegant with a stunning cut out back really catching the eye.

Dani completed her look with gold strapped heels, a clutch handbag and relaxed waves in her hair.

Chloe Lewis

TOWIE star Chloe headed to Aintree with her sister and they both looked amazing! Incredibly the pair who look alike, seemed to have almost identical hair styles for the day down to the last detail with a casual wavy style with loose strands and blonde highlights. 

The reality star posted an image to her Instagram page which showed her wearing a cream double-breasted blazer-style dress. A very classy look, perfect for one of racing’s biggest days in the calendar!
